You need to show your mother that you won't always be there at the same
time and place if she won't care. I know it sounds cruel, but she needs
to see that you are a busy person as well. Stop calling her, don't stay
online too long. Go a couple of extra weeks without too much
communication. And when you do communicate with her, be short with her.
If she asks you how your week was, say, "Fine. Oh man, I've got to go.
Talk later!" or something to that effect.

What you're doing is starving her for your attention, and you're showing
her that you are independent, and you do not have a flexible schedule.
Eventually, your mother will call you out on it, and when she does,
politely point out what she's doing to you. if she begins to act
erratic, excuse yourself from skype, and go a few days without talking
to her. You're giving her a taste of her own medicine, and, as wrong and
angry as it sounds, it's the only way you can get her to see what she's
doing wrong.

As for your In-law problem, I think your parents are letting you stand
up for yourself. You can't wait for them to come to the rescue, and
that's what they want you to learn. Stand up to your In-laws and
definitely to your brother.
