Andys Nav!

Post by Andy on Fri Jan 15, 2010 9:46 am

Here she is, pritty much from when i got it to now........

when she is a few days after collection

Then i made a induction kit with a open air filter, it was very noisy

So i did one with a closed air filter, still to noisy, so went back to the old K&N panel filter

Then came my sub install, custom made box with amp mounted under passanger front seat and bass controller

Then came front grill and plastic fog surrounds and bonnet guard.

Harmon Kardon ipod connection

Carryboy A bar, then got damaged due to a arugment with a wagon and a post

Then came smoked rear lights, parking sensors, chrome rear handle...

And finally, 22s, chrome door handles, HID and DLRs, stainless fog surrounds and handles, Exhaust, hard boost pipe and boost gauge, remap and DTE...

Hoilday in wales

Rolling road day

Looking good as always Andy.

One question though, have you thought about hard piping the intake between air filter and turbo. Some guy's in Aussie have done it and recon it improves response. Apparently there is quite a lot of colapse on that pipe when under load and turbo's sucking hard. Question

See picture below if I don't make sence

Thanks for the comments guys!

As for the intake pipe for the turbo! STOP GIVING ME IDEAS ive spent enough on it

When i did the boost pipe conversion it improved throttle responce and gave me more stable boost...
